Ducks and rocks and fishes, too
And the river showing green and blue
As it flows quietly downstream
The colors change making a beautiful scene.

While the ducks slowly drift by,
I start to wonder why can't I!
They are free and I'm suppose to be
So I will drift as the river to the sea.

But now you know,
If the truth be told
I drift only in my mind
So big and bold.

For earthly things do tie me down
Until I feel like I will drown.
By drifting away in my mind's eye
I can kiss my cares goodbye.

So when reality hits again,
I can say, "I'm alright, my Friend".
